Description:
The Lone Star State League is looking for an energetic and creative Videographer/Photographer to capture the heart of our summer softball season. From cinematic in-game footage to behind-the-scenes moments, you'll play a key role in visually telling the story of our athletes, teams, and community.This is a great opportunity for aspiring sports media professionals looking to grow their portfolio and gain hands-on experience in fast-paced, high-energy game environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend games and events on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Capture high-quality photo and video content during games, warmups, walk-ins, post-game interviews, and community moments
Deliver edited photo batches and/or highlight clips on a timely basis for social use
Collaborate with the Social Media Lead to align content with posting schedules
Create dynamic footage for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and sponsorship highlights
Organize and upload files to shared folders for league-wide use
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced or passionate about sports photography/videography
Owns a camera and basic equipment (DSLR, mirrorless, or video-capable gear)
Knowledge of editing software like Lightroom, Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.
Strong eye for storytelling, action shots, and branding consistency
Comfortable working in outdoor settings and moving between field locations
A team player who can take direction and also shoot independently
Compensation:
This is a seasonal paid role. Rate will depend on experience and number of games covered. Opportunities for credit, portfolio features, and brand collaboration exposure available. -
Part-Time | Seasonal | Remote + Game Day Access
Description:
The Lone Star State League is seeking a creative and driven Animated Graphics & Motion Content Intern to bring our softball storytelling to life through eye-catching motion graphics, short animations, and dynamic social content. You'll work closely with our Social Media Lead to enhance brand identity and amplify key moments across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.Key Responsibilities:
Design and animate short-form motion graphics for player spotlights, team announcements, game highlights, and sponsor shoutouts
Help develop templates for IG Stories, Reels, and countdown posts
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency across all assets
Contribute ideas for trends and transitions to keep content fresh and engaging
Optimize animations for mobile-first viewing and social-friendly specs
Support content creation remotely or attend games as needed (optional)
Ideal Candidate:
Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Canva Pro, or similar
A strong sense of motion design, social timing, and storytelling
Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok design trends
Ability to work under tight deadlines with a flexible, team-first attitude
Passion for sports, women’s athletics, or grassroots media is a big plus!

Part-Time | Seasonal | Remote + Game Day Support (Central Texas)
Description:
The Lone Star State League is looking for a creative and driven Marketing & Partnerships Intern to support league-wide marketing efforts and help bring sponsor and partner activations to life. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports, branding, and community building — and who wants hands-on experience in both marketing execution and sponsor relationship management.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across social, email, and community platforms
Help write and schedule engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and email newsletters
Coordinate and support brand partnerships by ensuring logos, mentions, and deliverables are properly executed on social and at events
Create marketing materials such as flyers, media kits, and sponsor shoutouts
Track marketing performance and engagement metrics
Support fan giveaways, promotions, and on-site activations
Optional: Attend games to help with on-field content capture and sponsor execution
Ideal Candidate:
Studying or experienced in marketing, sports management, or communications
Familiar with Canva, Mailchimp, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Drive
Strong communication, organization, and creative writing skills
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

The Lone Star State League is looking for organized, energetic, and reliable individuals to join our Game Day Operations team. This role is essential to ensuring that all summer league games run smoothly — from field setup to fan experience. You’ll be at the center of the action helping bring high-level collegiate softball to life each week.Key Responsibilities:
Arrive early to help set up fields, signage, equipment, and scoreboards
Manage team check-ins, dugout organization, and field assignments
Operate the scoreboard, music, or assist with livestream setup as needed
Support umpires and game officials with logistics and communication
Ensure a clean, professional game day environment before, during, and after games
Provide general assistance to the Operations Lead and Head of League Operations
Interact respectfully with athletes, coaches, fans, and partners
Help troubleshoot minor issues to keep the schedule running on time
Ideal Candidate:
Reliable and punctual, with strong communication skills
Able to work outdoors and lift/move equipment (with assistance)
Has a basic understanding of softball/baseball (preferred but not required)
Comfortable taking direction and solving problems in a fast-paced environment
A team player who brings a positive attitude to every shift
Available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the season (June–July)

As the voice of the game, you’ll help tell the story of our athletes, enhance the livestream experience for fans, and contribute to growing visibility for women’s sports.This is a high-impact, high-energy role for anyone passionate about sports media, broadcasting, or live commentary.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide live play-by-play and/or color commentary for league games
Work with the operations team to ensure smooth livestream setup and execution
Prepare for games by reviewing rosters, stats, storylines, and sponsor mentions
Communicate clearly and enthusiastically with an online audience
Maintain a professional tone and positive representation of the league
Collaborate with other broadcast team members, media staff, and game day crew
Support highlight clip creation by identifying key game moments when needed
Ideal Candidate:
Experience or interest in broadcasting, journalism, or sports communication
Strong speaking voice, enthusiasm, and understanding of softball/baseball
Able to speak clearly under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments
Comfortable using a mic, livestream platforms, or willing to learn quickly
Reliable, prepared, and able to work evenings and weekends
Available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the season (June–July)

Seasonal | Part-Time | In-Person (Central Texas)
Description:
The Lone Star State League is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and compassionate Athletic Trainer Intern to support the health and performance of collegiate softball athletes during the summer season. This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in athletic training, kinesiology, or sports medicine who wants real-world, on-field experience with female athletes in a competitive environment.Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead Certified Athletic Trainer with pre-game and post-game care
Provide on-site support including stretching, taping, hydration, and first aid
Monitor athletes for signs of injury, fatigue, or heat-related illness
Maintain a clean and organized medical tent area
Help track athlete injuries and recovery notes under supervision
Communicate effectively with coaches, players, and league staff
Support injury prevention and recovery efforts, including ice baths, mobility work, and warm-up/cool-down routines
Attend games on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (unless otherwise arranged)
Ideal Candidate:
Currently enrolled in an Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science program
CPR/First Aid certified (preferred)
Passionate about athlete care, sports safety, and female performance
Strong communicator, calm under pressure, and comfortable working outdoors
Organized, proactive, and professional in demeanor
Able to lift/move moderate equipment (coolers, tables, med kits, etc.)
Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship designed for college credit or resume-building experience. Interns will receive:
Mentorship from a licensed Athletic Trainer
Hands-on experience working directly with high-level collegiate athletes
Networking opportunities within the sports performance and softball community
Letter of recommendation and internship verification upon successful completion
